Last Year for Osbourne Family Spectacle of Lights

Making room for Star Wars and Toy Story lands at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, this will be the last year for the Osbourne Family Spectacle of Lights.

Since 1995, every winter Disney setup over 10 miles of rope lighting, using over 20 miles of extension cords, and drawing over 800,000 watts of energy. The Osbourne Spectacle of Lights is displayed in the Streets of America section of DHS, a section dead center for the newly announced expansion plans.

We knew its days were numbered, as most things at WDW don’t last over 20 years, but it almost did!
